Kahit Isang Araw Lang Unity Run on January 22, 2012. Have fun while helping others!

UNTV and its partners will once again organize a nationwide fun run for a cause.

“Kahit Isang Araw Lang” Unity Run will be held on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at the SM Mall of Asia.

The fun run, now on its second year,  aims to continue UNTV’s thrust to build more computer classrooms and classroom buildings and push a scholarship-program for mass communication and nursing students.

Daniel Razon,  chairman and CEO of Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International, which  operates and manages UNTV said that they have been in touch with Education Sec. Armin Luistro to identify site where they will build a two-story classrooms.

Razon also said that he expects celebrities to join the fun run such as Optical Media Board Chairman Ronnie Rickets, Actor/Director Zoren Legaspi, Former beauty queen turned politician Daisy Reyes among others.

Razon, popularly known as Kuya Daniel is again setting his sights high.

In a conference, he told the press, “We aim to net around P20 million,  of which more than P200,000 at least will come from Metro  Manila.”

On the other hand, the event’s organizer, Avante Gard peg the number of runners this year at 300,000, five times that of last year’s.

The first 20,000 registrants will get an official Unity Run singlet and canvas bag.

Cash prizes await the top 3 male and female winners in the  three categories: 3K, 5K and 10K.

All finishers will be entitled to join the  raffle draw after the race.  Prizes at stake are (in Metro Manila) a brand-new car (first prize), motorcycle (second prize, two winners), laptops (three winners, third prize) and cellphones (consolation prize, five winners).

Raffle prizes for the other locations are a motorcycle (first prize), laptops (second prize, two winners) and cellphones (third prize, three winners).

The fun run will also be held simultaneously at Mendoza Park, Puerto Princesa; Bacolod Panaad Stadium, Bacolod City; Cebu Business Park, Cebu City;  Tacloban City Mall, Tacloban City; SM City Davao and Butuan Sports Complex, Butuan City.

I know I’ve been gone for a long time and I haven’t have much time to update my blog.

Clinic ni Kuya Daniel of UNTV's Good Morning, Kuya! show provides daily free medical services for our poor countrymen.

Anyway, I just want let you know that Clinic ni Kuya Daniel of the show Good Morning, Kuya! of UNTV were able to serve 123 patients who came to avail free medical services today.

Of the 123 patients, 60 were able to avail free General Medicine, 3 benefitted from free laboratory tests and 25 patients availed free OB-Gyne services.

28 soon-to-be mothers came to be examined through Ultrasound machines with the help of the Rotary Club of the Philippines, Metro Manila Chapter; and 7 babies were checked up for the free well baby service.

Along with this daily free medical mission project for the poor countrymen are free ride programs in buses and MRT for senior citizens; free legal services and job fairs.

"Mr. Public Service" Kuya Daniel Razon spearheads various charitable works for our fellowmen.

These are projects that he and his uncle, Bro. Eli Soriano, the host of the program Ang Dating Daan (ADD) and the Presiding Minister of Members Church of God International (MCGI), are currently laboring for.

It is an undeniable fact that Daniel Razon is known for his public service endeavor, thus the moniker “Mr. Public Service”.

Libu-libong manonood ang dumalo upang saksihan ang konsiyerto na minsan pa ay inihandog ng Bible Readers Society International, Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International at UNTV at Kamanggagawa Foundation sa pakikipagtulungan ng NU107 at iba pang mga sponsors ng event.

Ang YCon Con: Isang Araw Lang ang pangalawang sesyon ng konsyerto mula nang ilunsad ito ng BRead Society at BMPI-UNTV noong March 2006 para sa kapakinabangan ng mga kabataang nalulong sa bawal na gamot at ngayon ay kinakalinga sa Bahay Bagong Buhay Rehabilitation Center sa Bicutan, Taguig.

Muling yayanigin ng Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International Incorporated at ng Bible Readers Society International (BRead) ang buong Araneta Coliseum mamayang gabi sa isang Youth Convention and Concert o YCon Con: Isang Araw Lang, the Sequel.

Ito ang pangalawang sesyon ng konsyerto mula nang ilunsad ito noong March 2006 sa the Big Dome para sa kapakinabangan ng mga kabataang nalulong sa bawal na gamot at ngayon ay kinakalinga sa Bahay Bagong Buhay Rehabilitation Center sa Bicutan, Taguig.

Get ready for this year’s biggest event!

Bible Readers’ Society in cooperation with Breakthrough and Milestones Productions, International (BMPI) and UNTV brings you another fund-raising concert of Kuya Daniel Razon.

Together with some of the country’s top individual performers and bands, Kuya Daniel Razon will take part in this year’s “YConCon: Isang Araw Lang,” the sequel, a youth concert and convention on August 17 at the Araneta coliseum.

Among the performers and bands who are expected to perform are: Pupil, Nina, Sugarfree, Itchyworms, Shamrock, Francis “Kiko” Reyes of the Dawn, and BREAD crumbs.

In this year’s YCon Con, Kuya Daniel Razon will perform for the first time the theme song of his advocacy titled “Isang Araw Lang.”

The message of Kuya Daniel Razon’s latest song is to motivate people to do good even for just one day in a year.

Proceeds from the YConCon: Isang Araw Lang will go to the various public service projects of Kuya Daniel Razon, particularly the Free College project which will provide free education to selected scholars from indigent families.

Kuya Daniel hopes that his Just One Day (Isang Araw Lang) campaign will help awaken the sense of responsibility of the Filipinos and compassion for our fellowmen.

“YConCon: Isang Araw Lang,” the sequel is a project of a youth organization called BREAD (Bible Readers’ Society) International.

The first “YConCon” Youth Convention and Concert was launched in 2007 at the Araneta Coliseum for the benefit of Bahay Bagong Buhay Rehabilitation Center in Bicutan, Taguig that houses children who were victims of illegal drug abuse and solvent addiction.

The BREAD (Bible Readers’ Society) International is a youth organization with the mission to institutionalize not only bible reading and studying but also to translate biblical ideals into a constant practice.

It is composed of students, professionals and out of school youth, bread society has been leading the people in reading the bible mostly in educational institutions.

Fans of Kuya Daniel Razon trooped to PICC Plenary Hall in Pasay City yesterday to watch highly anticipated Isang Araw Lang the Movie.

Sa sobrang dami ng mga dumalo para manood ng pelikula ni Kuya Daniel, napuno ang buong PICC Plenary Hall mula itaas hanggang ibaba.

Hindi naman magkamayaw sa tuwa ang mga fans ni Kuya Daniel nang lumabas siya para batiin at pasalamatan ang mga manonood.

“Salamat po sa Dios at sa inyong lahat na sumuporta sa Isang Araw Lang. Sana mag-enjoy po kayo sa palabas natin ngayon. Just sit back and relax and enjoy the movie,” ani Kuya Daniel.

Sa mga hindi pa nakakapanood, ang pelikula ay tungkol sa isang simple at mabait na tsuper ng dyip na tumutulong sa kanyang kapwa sa mabuting paraan. Subalit sa kabila ng kanyang mga ipinakitang kabutihan ay pinag-isipan pa siya ng masama at pinagbantaan ang kanyang buhay ng mga mapagkunwaring opisyal ng pamahalaan at abusado sa kapangyarihan.

Ang Isang Araw Lang the Movie ay sa panulat ni Director Lito de Guzman at ipinrodyus ng kumpanyang Breakthrough and Milestones Productions, International (BMPI).

Ayon naman kay Van Avenido, ang Executive Producer ng Isang Araw Lang the Movie, positibo ang naging tugon ng publiko sa pelikula na unang pinagbidahan at idinerehe ni Kuya Daniel Razon.

Isang Araw Lang the Movie Executive Producer, Mr. Van Avenido was visibly elated with the audiences' positive response to the movie

Nagpa-haging rin sa mga pulitiko si Avenido at nagbiro na ang pelikulang ito ay tiyak na babagay sa mga taong may posisyon sa pamahalaan, “Sa mga politicians, babagay ito. I think it’s high time na i-apply natin ang sinasabing isang araw lang na makakapagbigay tayo ng isang araw lang na medyo, yung tong-pats natin, eh, wag nating gawin, di ba?”

Pinanood rin ni World Champ Bodybuilder Jerick Ternida ang pelikula ni Kuya Daniel Razon na matagal na niyang ini-idolo sa paggawa ng kabutihan at makabuluhang bagay para sa kapwa at sa lipunan.

World Champ Bodybuilder Mr. Jerick Ternida also watched Isang Araw Lang the Movie. Ternida says that he is an avid fan of Kuya Daniel and he tries to emulate Kuya Daniel's unwilting service to the public.

“Talagang inspirasyon ko na si Kuya Daniel. Kaya noong last year na nanalo ako ng Muscle Mania Universe, nagtayo na ako ng mga health & fitness clinics para sa mga kabataan para ma-involve sila sa fitness at malayo sa mga bisyo. At siyempre magsisimula tayo sa Isang araw lang…” ani Ternida.

At kahit tapos ng mapanood ang Isang Araw Lang the Movie, marami pa rin ang nagre-request na ulitin ito at magkaroon ng Isang Araw Lang the Movie Part 2.

Puring-puri din ng mga manonood ang acting ni Kuya Daniel kaya’t nais nila na mapanood ito ng mas nakararami para matutuhan ang mga mahahalagang aral sa paggawa ng mabuti kahit isang araw lang.

Fans of Kuya Daniel Razon still can't get enough of the movie. Everybody wants to watch it for the second time around and requests for Isang Araw Lang the Movie Part 2.

“Kaya ako nanood ng Isang Araw Lang the Movie para makakuha ako ng technique kung paano ako makakagawa ng kabutihan kahit sa isang araw lang,” ang nasabi ni Divina Romano, isa ring fan ni Kuya Daniel.

An avid fan of Kuya Daniel Razon watched Isang Araw Lang the Movie. She says she had followed Kuya Daniel's good deeds and aspires to do it as well.

Samantala, tiniyak rin ni Avenido, na hindi lang sa Pilipinas mapapanood ang pelikulang ito ni Kuya Daniel Razon dahil naka-pila na ang series ng playdate nito sa iba’t ibang mga bansa.

“Naka-schedule tayo for Dubai ngayong first week of August and then 3^rd and last week nasa US tayo. Meron din sa Singapore at iba pang mga bansa na nang-iimbita sa atin,” ani Avenido.

Ang Isang Araw Lang the Movie ay handog para sa lahat ng mga taong natutulungan ni Mr. Public Service Kuya Daniel Razon.

Isang Araw Lang the Movie of Kuya Daniel Razon is set to have its international movie screening this August.

Ang pondo na makukuha mula sa proyektong ito ay gagamitin para sa mga public service programs ni Kuya Daniel sa istasyon ng UNTV, katuwang si Bro. Eli Soriano ng grupong Ang Dating Daan, Kabalikat sa Pamamahayag, Internasyunal (KAPI) at ng Kamanggagawa Foundation, Inc. (KFI).

Kasama sa cast ng Isang Araw Lang the Movie ang heartthrob of the ’80s na si Rey PJ Abellana, award-winning actor Emilio Garcia, professional action stuntman Robert Miller, comedian Arnel Ignacio at Natasha Ledesma.

Kasama rin sa pelikula ang mga co-hosts sa daily Good Morning, Kuya! Show ng UNTV (mula Mon-Fri 4:45am-9am) na sina Rene Jose, Eloisa “Lola Sela” Cruz Canlas, Tony Arevalo, Krist Melecio, Robbie Packing, UNTV artist Mayumi Lugod at Sports 37 host Ryan Ramos.

Kuya Daniel just announced the date of Youth Convention and Concert the Sequel!

After the successful premiere of Kuya Daniel Razon’s directorial debut film Isang Araw Lang the Movie, this July, once again, Mr. Public Service will present yet another project this August.

Together with some of the most sought after bands and performers, our Kuya ng Bayan will take part in this year’s Youth Convention and Concert (Y Con Con) The Sequel at the Araneta Coliseum on August 17, 2009.

Kuya Daniel Razon aims this concert to raise funds for the free college education program that he and Bro. Eliseo Soriano launched recently.
